ARTreach Tutor Program for Refugees
Kennan Bieber is a University of Houston student. He is a community Service Director of a volunteer driven initiatives that reach out to the Houston refugee community. The program introduces college students and volunteers as positive cultural role models to encourage the children to study and stay in school. The student's teaching methods are engaging and fun for the children, they combine art and learning games and study habits that focus on grade improvements, while providing the extra attention the refugee chidlren need to be successful in their overall acculturation process. |

ARTreach is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides mentoring and art-related programs to a growing population of children at risk, children and adults with special needs, the elderly and others in need.
