ABOUT ARTreach / Funding


Funding Sources

ARTreach is part of the Texas Commission on the Arts Texas Touring Roster. Financial support is available to assist with artist fees through the TCA ARTS Respond Performance Support Grant Program. This quarterly program provides support to Texas Schools, libraries and nonprofits organizations and government entities for hiring artists to do a performance, residency or workshops in a school or community center or facility. These applications are funded based on a sliding scale ranging from 30-50% of contracted fees. Support is based on TCA’s available funds. ARTreach is recieves grants supporting our program operations and this helps keep program fees affordable to non-profit partners and school districts and free to underserved populations. ARTreach relies on artists, volunteers and our partnerships with other organizations to leverage our core capabilities, and to improve service delivery to benefit neglected populations. 

Below is an average break down of our income sources supporting general programs operations:

ARTreach is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides mentoring and art-related programs to a growing population of children at risk, children and adults with special needs, the elderly and others in need.
